Can ever lasting peace ever be achieved by human Government....?

Excellent question! The prophet Jeremiah stated at Jeremiah 10:23 "I well know, O Jehovah, that to earthling man his way does not belong. It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step." So mankind to bring about peace is not possible. Mankind have very good intentions and some want to bring about changes worldwide, but it will take a higher power to do so. Daniel 2:44 talks about "God setting up a kingdom that will not be brought to ruin." This is the Kingdom that Jesus told us to pray for at Matthew 6: 9,10. Lasting peace can be done only with Satan and the demons gone, and only God almighty and Jesus can achieve that.
