What's the problem....im confident, intelligent, & attractive, yet i dont attract anyone?

The media portrays the "hot'' female as someone with a little waist, huge backside , firm , long hair, and possibly light skinned. I am the complete opposite of all of these qualities! I believe beauty comes in several forms, shapes, and fashions. I am confident, intelligent and i have more personality than anything. I constantly go to clubs and other public events with my best friend and no matter how glitzy or glam i look she can pull 6 guys, and me? I pull none. I know nothings wrong with me, but exactly HOW do i deal with the situation. Between guys having their preferences and looking at physical features BEFORE considering personality first, i have a big issue with not attracting men. Im not saying im on this love search or anything, but being that we are social beings, i wanna know that i can go to a club or event and a nice decent fellow will walk up to me instead of standing there ALONE! sheesh!
