What would you do in this situation?

ok so my mom and my MOH want to ask for monetary gifts for me at my bridal shower, i tried explaining to them that i don't feel comfortable asking for anything... i am happy enough just to see everyone and spend time with them. but they still want to make it known what they want people to get me. I feel like i am going to get judged for this. what would you do in my situation, or if you received this gift request for a bridal shower, in which the bride has no say in what really goes on? Thanks all!
