Global warming??

I think that global warming is slighty affecting our climate. When Mt. Vesuvius erupted, it emitted more atmospheric gases than we have as a whole population. and that was just ONE explosion. So is what we have been emitting just like a natural stage in Earth- just one more volcanic explosion??
