Im 18 year old male. Let me start, things cud be alot worse. I am a confidnt individual. I see ppl with things worse and in a way I ave nothin to be complainin about but at same tim I just am’nt hapy. I supose my main problms r self consciousnes nd paranoia. My dog loves naps?? what does this mean? ?

my german shepherd is a rescue dog. we just got her about 2 years ago, and the vet thinks she's around 3 or 4 years of age. she's small for her breed and her background is pretty murky. the SPCA said she might have been used as a training dog for pitbulls and other fighting breeds. she was very afraid of people when we first got her, but she's warmed up a bit. she's wary of strangers, but she loves our family. she's definetly my mom's dog though. everyday my mom will lay down to take a 45 minute nap, if she has time. and our dog gets so excited. she'll run around and jump on my mom when she hears the word nap, and then run upstairs, always looking over her shoulder to see if she's being followed. then she jumps up on the bed, circles around a few times, and lays down right next to my mom. we all think it's the funniest thing, that she gets so excited. do you think there's a reason for this? or does she just like relazing with her master? thanks for any comments :] ♥

Is there any way to fix a kink in the edge of a sword?

My younger brother got a hold of my replica of the sword used by Morpheus in the second Matrix movie. The sword is a fully functional steel katana and unfortunately he decided to use the edge against the edge of a decoration sword while playing with an other young friend. Fortunately I got there on time to prevent any one from getting hurt but now there is a kink on the edge. i'm contemplating an hp mini 311 netbook, mainly because it's small enough (11"x8", 3 lbs.) that i can probably carry it around with me all day. it has an nvidia ion le (atom n280 1.66 ghz with an nvidia geforce 9400m). the most processor-intense thing i do is cs:s (say aztec with 30 bots), which i would like to play at 60 fps, but is 30 fps playable? my current computer is an hp zd7168cl (p4 3 ghz nvidia geforce fx go5600) which can drop to 15 fps at critical times which to me is unplayable. or does it make more sense to get an hp dv3t (13"x9", 5 lbs.) notebook (core 2 duo 2.5 ghz with an nvidia geforce g105 m)? would that perform better on cs:s? if you're not a navy seal, is that easy to carry around all day?

Facing serious charges how do I prove I am innocent?

I was office manager for small business for 18 months. Me and owner were having an affair and when things went south threats were made and I am now being accused of forgery. I was authorized by him to sign his name to checks. EVERY check that went out of that office was signed by myself not him. To vendors, bank loans, payroll everything. I at the end of the month would do reconciliation and pay back shareholder (him) and myself for expenses accrued throughout month for things such as office supplies, postage, permits for building inspectors etc all purchased by me through my credit card or with cash. OR the checks were to pay me the rest of my pay every week which was half legit for audit purposes and half cash as he wanted to limit his payroll tax payments as much as possible. We went over bank statements every week and he was well aware of the checks I wrote to myself. He never added me as a signer or gave me power of attorney. I just signed. He is now saying all checks to myself are forgeries however other ones to vendors etc are legit. How can those checks to myself be forgeries yet rest is legit? Technically then every check I ever signed is forged. This man is in deep financial trouble and was using the "get you before you get me" mentality. Now he waits until a month after to file a report and an affidavit of forgery. I have SEVERAL witnesses that can attest to the fact that I had verbal authorization including the CPA and other technicians that worked there. I have some reciepts for office supplies and the building inspectors can say I paid for the permits. Also other employees were getting cash compensation as well in forms of checks. I need to know how bad this may be for me. My bank is refusing to reimburse his bank and saying they dont believe his story as plausible. Not sure about his bank yet. However do i have recourse for him lying and possibly costing me monies with my other bank where they are holding me accountable for a $300 check as "forgery/breech of warranty" I did nothing wrong other then my job and trust him. How far criminally is this likely to go?

Well you do need a new board it will make things way easier even just riding trust me youll do much better with a new board and dont get mad at yourself if you cant land it it takes practice youll do it i skated for 2 years now and doing tricks on a real board is easier . Also to get a board go on google shopping and type in complete boards. theyll range from 80 to 200$. you can get a good board. Trust mee you dont need to crawl in a hole yet it takes a while to learn how to ollie. Side effects of using a neti pot???

I suffer from allergies and sinus problems. Every fall and winter I develop at the least a few sinus infections and occasionally bronchitis or pneumonia. It is hard for me to get my allergies under control and my immune system is rather poor. For the last 3 weeks to a month I have had considerable sinus pain- a series of headaches that last throughout the day, everyday, a tight jaw, painful ears and upper teeth pain. I figured that I had gotten another sinus infection. On Wed. I decided to get a Neti Pot and try to clean me up. I used it several times each day. On Sat. evening my nose started running constantly and I started having huge sneezing fits. Sneezes that shook my whole body and sometimes hurt, all right in a row. Then my eyes started tearing and running. I have never had any type of attack like this in my life, and so far, 2 days later, my eyes are still watery and runny. Is this a side effect of the Neti Pot? Did I rinse all the crud out of my head?

In December 09 I reversed out of a parking space at work and scuffed the bumper of another car, the owner of the car was present and I gave her my contact details. I took photos of the scuff marks as it was so minimal that I could have polished them out myself. The 3rd party has now contacted me via a company called Clarendon Insurance Solutions and submitted 2 quotes, one for �130 and one for �310. the quotes include reshaping of the bumper which requires painting twice [according to the estimates]. I have had 3 letters from this company but they have never quoted my car registration, make or model. I am wondering why the 3rd party is using this company rather than going through their own insurance company and is there anything I should be wary of when dealing with them? Also what affect is there on my liability to pay considering the 3rd party has no idea which of my cars was involved?

okay, your still young, but your times are way off from good. My 800 meter time is a 2 mins and 6 secs, but i dont run the 100 and the 200. but a good 200 time is 23 to 26 secs. and after watching people run the 100 a good time for that event is 10 or 11 secs. keep training and you will get better, you might want to run the mile also. I run the mile in 5 mins and 1 sec. and also try to get on a cross country team. the more you run and race the faster you will get.

I've been smoking now for 16 years. Recently I had bronchitis and should have not smoked while having it but i did and now i still cant stop coughing. I have no insurance and no money to go to the doctor because when i was first sick i spent a load of money. I've also been a heavy drinker for a few years now nad lately have not been so bad, but when i do drink i feel really sick the next day. Why does this keep happening?

My Mother just seems to constantly get angry and throw a tantrum if she doesn't get things the way she wants. She never want to have a civil conversations about anything and all conversations with her constantly end in her yelling and running off while I remain calm. For example, I asked her for pop tarts as part of my Birthday present becuase I really don't get them much but she will never purchase these for me on any occasion and frowns if I buy themeself. She always has extremely over dramatic reactions to every disagreement. "fine, get the pop tarts, clog your arteries and die" This could not happen becuase of one serving of pop tarts. I know she is trying to keep me healthy but I eat quite healthy most of the time and I don't understand why I can't have my favorite foods in moderation. The problem is that I can't talk to her about this because she just says "enough, enough!" and yells and runs off. This happens so often and it's extremely frustrating. I am not the one yelling at her always seems to be getting overly angry and screaming . How can I talk to her about this?

ive been smoking pot regularly for the past 3 months or so, and even though im just 19 and like getting high sometimes, i realize the negative effects on using it and on me personally such as: spending too much money, getting in trouble with the law, etc. SO, i was thinking about titling the book "90 days of pot," "the 90 day high," etc. What i would do is basically tell stories that happened through my "weed diary," which tells the adventurous, but dangerous things that happened to me while being high every day.....I think its something that really hasnt been done before, and it can appeal to/be popular among different groups of people such as~ pot smokers, people interested in trying it, scientists for studies, and even for DARE officers.

I lost everything on my iphone!?

Ok so basically, I plugged in my iPhone 4 in my macbook and I opened up iTunes. A few months ago I synced my old iPhone and I never synced my new one. Well, after plugging in my phone, it asked me if I wanted to sync it as a new iphone or restore as Angela's iPhone (also the name of my new phone.) I forgot that this was the first time I synced my phone so I guess I just clicked on restore... I lost all the photos, videos, notes etc. on my phone. Is there any way I can restore what I lost? Nar-anon Boundaries, Trust Not doing very well with these?

I am a new member of Nar anon, I am trying very hard to follow the program and an glued to my SESH book. My addict is my 35 year old son, he over dosed last March and it nothing short of a miracle that he is alive. He is married to an addict and they have too kids. I have separated the addict from my loved one in my mind and so it is a lot easier to handle the anger . I am 60 and on disability, so I have a very small income. Every month he ends up getting most of it, he pawned my laptop, that I let him use. He borrowed money at the beginning of of May saying I would get it back when he got his unemployment last week. Than he claims to have lost his card so I have to wait till he gets a new one. I found out last nite he never lost his card and got the money and its now gone. This kind of thing happens often. If not with anger than how, when I realize he has screwed me once again, am I supposed to call him on it, or just let him think I don't know. he claims hes clean, but where would the money be going. He does not pay his bill. He will wait until the power is off and than call, and for the kids I will pay it. I don't think I will ever be able to trust again. So what do I do when I catch him in a betrayal next time. Thanks

Possibly one of them may like you more then the others, and he might be shy or unsure about his feelings and so him and his friends are avoiding you. Another reason is, maybe they've been too busy with other things lately, but I don't think that's the case. I would just confront all of them at a necessary timing, and ask what the big deal is. Tell them that you think it's rude and demand why they have been avoiding you (if you don't think it's rude, tell them it's mean or whatever you feel about it). My little girls poo's - please read?

Its normal. My son is the same age and is already on stage 2. He dont finish it all though. Sometimes his poop does that though and i just give him apple sause. She could of been a lil constipated but since its getting softer thats also good means she is getting all the poop out from being constipated. My son does that when he eats allot and he poops everyday just some days are diff poops than others and some may look like the food color so thats normal too. If you see blood though like that means she was constipated and may have a lil tear when pushing hard thats when you call the doc to make sure. Hope this helped.

There's kind of a family reunion out of town this coming Friday and he's asking me to take off my internship on both Friday and Monday to attend it. So I've been best friends with this girl who we'll call Sophie for about a year and she's really the only person I trust. I've told her all of my secrets and she's told me hers. But things have changed. She started hanging out with this other girl who we'll call Megan. Sophie and I only have 2 cles together and we sit by each other in 1 of them but we sit there so she can talk to the guy she likes so her and I don't really talk very much. And in the other cl Sophie decided to move away from me and sit in the back kinda by the guy she likes. She's half way between me and him. While Brown Recluses are fairly notorious travellers (they often turn up in boxes and furniture being moved from their normal range in the center of the US), they aren't normally found east of the Appalachians or north of Illinois/Indiana, so you wouldn't think of them as a spider of the NE US. I suppose it's possible that their historic range is expanding, but I have seen no evidence or information that such a thing is happening. As for their venom, it's moderately toxic, with primarily a necrotizing effect, but as far as I know it's not terribly dangerous. Unpleasant and revolting skin and tisue effects, yes, but not much beyond that. The Widows are the only seriously medically significant spiders in the US, and even they don't kill people as a rule. A bad widow bite poduces intense pain, cramps and other extremely nasty effects, yes, but death, no (especially now that modern medicine is available). One other difference between the spiders is that Widow bites, while rare, are aparently relatively much more common than confirmed Recluse bites. You have to remember that pretty much everybody calls any new skin lesion a 'spider bite' based on nothing more than the fact that spiders are icky. A lot of things bite, and most of then are insects. Some things, like our normal skin bacteria, also can produce effects that people call 'spider bites'. A good rule of thumb is that unless you see a spider, it probably isn't a spider bite. Now, since you live in New Jersey, you shouldn't worry about Brown Recluses at all. If you want a definitive answer about Recluse pesence in New Jersey, however, ask the Rutgers entomology dept. or the Natural History Museum in NYC. I would take anything you see on these sorts of boards with a grain or two of salt (why, even I have been known to be wrong on rare occasions!).
