Do you think it may be a good thing that Obama is part Muslim?

I didn't realize that Barak Obama went to Muslim school as a child until now. Some Muslims may percieve US aggression towards predominately Muslim countries carried out by a fundamentalist Christian president as an attack on Islam itself. I think it might be a really good thing for the US image around the globe for Obama to win. Why wouldn't it be (unless of course you are an ignorant bigot who thinks all Muslims are terrorists)?
