GUYS a younger girl friend (platonic) asked you to her senior prom?

So I'm a senior. and my prom is coming up....I have nobody to ask! All my guy friends are already going with somebody else and I don't have a boyfriend. I was thinking of asking this one guy I work with but he's like twenty something...do you think he would go with me? Just as friends? Or would that be weird for a guy? I just really want to have a date! :(
